NAC024 - Niner Academy: Aerospace Engineering
Course Overview
This camp will introduce students to the exciting world of aerospace engineering! Students will learn about the principles of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, autonomous control, propulsion, and battery systems, among other topics! Hands on activities will include: building a helium-filled remotely controlled blimp, flying a drone simulator, conducting experiments with airfoils and batteries, and firing-off model rockets, and much more! The camp will encompass a day trip to the Sullenberger Aviation Museum and a behind-the-scenes tour at Charlotte Douglas Airport.
