Course Overview
With the rising popularity of shows like MasterChef Junior, interest in the culinary arts has never been higher! In partnership with UNC Charlotte Dining Services and Chartwells, this camp invites young chefs to step into the kitchen and explore the world of cooking, baking, and nutrition. Each day, campers will learn about ingredients, recipes, and healthy meal preparation before rolling up their sleeves to cook or bake a new dish in our very own Bistro kitchen located in the UNC Charlotte Student Union. Along the way, they’ll gain valuable kitchen skills and learn how creativity and science come together in the art of food. To wrap up the week, campers will compile their favorite dishes into a personal recipe book—a delicious keepsake to take home and continue their culinary adventures!
