Course Overview

Hands-On Robotics for Curious Middle Schoolers

Robotics 201 is an exciting, one-day STEM workshop designed for students in grades 5–8 who love building, problem-solving, and technology. Hosted in partnership with the William States Lee College of Engineering and UNC Charlotte’s Gold Rush Robotics student organization, this camp introduces students to the fundamentals of robotics through hands-on learning.

With Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools closed for a teacher workday, Robotics 201 offers parents a meaningful, educational option that keeps students engaged, learning, and inspired.

Level Up Your Child’s Robotics Skills

Build, Code & Create with LEGO® Education SPIKE™

Campers will use the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ kit to design, build, and program robots that move, sense, and respond. No prior robotics experience is required—this workshop meets students where they are and helps them grow.
