Course Overview

Everything around us, including ourselves, is made up of electrons and protons. Yet, we rarely stop to consider how these charged particles behave in surprising ways that challenge our common sense. In this program, we’ll showcase a series of fascinating experiments that reveal the hidden wonders of these particles. We'll also explain how engineers harness these behaviors to generate energy, such as electricity, and design essential devices like cell phones, computers, printers, and many more.
This half-day program will feature engaging demonstrations of experiments involving electric charges and magnetic phenomena, along with discussions about the underlying science. Participants will have the opportunity for hands-on experience, allowing them to explore and think like electrical engineers.
