Designed for middle-grade learners, this camp encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and creative problem-solving through exciting, nature-based experiences.Campers will explore the vital role of North Carolina’s pollinators by joining the Butterfly Highway initiative, participating in a Pollinator Plant ID & Scavenger Hunt, and venturing on a dynamic “Monarchs at the Lake” field trip. Along the way, they’ll discover the amazing journey of monarch butterfly migration—learning how these delicate travelers journey thousands of miles and why protecting their habitats is so important.
