Course Overview

Spark your curiosity and step into a world where science, creativity, and storytelling come together! At our STEAM StoryLab, young writers will discover how imagination and innovation can team up to bring their ideas to life.
Explore the Wonder: Campers will experiment with hands-on science and engineering challenges—from building simple machines to testing mini-experiments—and then learn how to turn those discoveries into stories filled with excitement and adventure.
Create the Impossible: This camp invites kids to be inventors, designers, and authors all at once. They’ll dream up original characters, craft story worlds shaped by real science, and imagine inventions that solve silly, serious, or surprising problems.
Where Writing Meets Making: Each day blends writing time with creative projects like designing gadgets, drawing story maps, building prototypes, and exploring nature and technology. Campers will see how observation fuels storytelling and how their “what if?” ideas can grow into full narratives.
Collaboration & Creativity: Through group challenges and team storytelling, campers will practice brainstorming, revising, and supporting one another’s ideas. Every child becomes both a storyteller and a maker.
A Week of Discovery: By the end of camp, each young author-engineer will walk away with a polished STEAM-inspired story, a collection of mini-projects, and a newfound confidence in their creativity.
Get ready to tinker, write, imagine, and create—because at STEAM StoryLab, the next great idea starts with YOU.
