Unleash your imagination and step into the world where art and storytelling collide! At Graphic Novel Academy, campers will dive deep into the craft of creating their very own graphic novels—learning how words and visuals come together to tell powerful stories.
Unravel the Secrets: Demystify the magic behind your favorite comics and graphic novels! Campers will explore panel layout, character development, plot structure, and visual storytelling through images, color, and composition.
Become the Architect: This camp isn’t just about reading—it’s about building your own universe!
Campers will develop original stories and characters, designing worlds that captivate and inspire readers.
Creativity Unleashed: Through writing and drawing, campers will experiment with techniques like foreshadowing, symbolism, and mood—discovering how to make their stories leap off the page. Hands-On, Minds-On: From sketching to scripting, every activity brings imagination to life.
Campers will also get the chance to mentor and collaborate with younger artists from the Cool School Graphic Novel Camp!
Emergence of a Maestro: Throughout the week, campers will read, discuss, and share their favorite graphic novels, gaining inspiration from a wide range of styles.
