PJM125 - Digital Project Management
Course Overview
Digital project management deals with the technological tools and resources available to project managers. The pace of digital transformation and the expansion of AI continues to accelerate, creating more changes and choices for project managers.
Digital project managers are expected to utilize digital tools to facilitate and improve the efficiency of nearly every project management task, including planning, communicating, scheduling, and budgeting.
Being an effective digital project manager is not simply about selecting and using digital tools, but also recognizing how to respond to change, understanding the value of various digital tools, and being comfortable with the reality that digital technology will continue changing how projects are managed. The Digital Project Management course helps prepare students to think about and consider different tools, such as AI, and how best to use them to achieve the unchanging goal of every project manager: completing a project within budget and timeline while maximizing the project’s return on investment.
