How the Program Works
The Forensic Accounting Certificate consists of three required courses:
- FRA101 - Principles of Forensic Accounting
- FRA102 - Fraud Prevention and Detection
- FRA103 - Introduction to Computer Forensics
Participants are encouraged to complete the courses in this sequence, which provides the clearest progression through the curriculum.
Each course includes 24 instructional hours and a recommended six-week pacing guide. Participants receive at least six weeks to complete each course and may have additional time depending on when they register and the published course end date.
Coursework is completed asynchronously through Canvas. Courses may include quizzes, assignments, discussions, practical exercises, and a final examination. There are no required live class meetings.
Participants who complete the three courses consecutively using the recommended pacing guides may earn the certificate in as little as 18 weeks.
