Scholarship Details

The Laura J. Campbell Scholarship supports participants who are registered to attend UNC Charlotte's Meeting and Event Planning Certificate program. Read more about Laura J. Campbell.

• For the Spring 2027 start date, four participants in the Meeting and Event Planning Certificate program will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.

• The application deadline is March 31, 2027, and recipients will be notified by April 21, 2027 (after the program begins). Scholarship awards will be applied at that time.

Eligibility

Applicants must be enrolled in the full certificate program at the time of application and remain enrolled throughout the scholarship award period. Recipients will be notified after the program begins, and awards will be applied at that time. No discounts may be combined with this scholarship.

Selection Considerations

An ideal scholarship candidate is someone who:

• Demonstrates that they have the ability to successfully complete the Meeting and Event Planning Certificate program.
• Can describe their strengths and how they will use those strengths to make a positive impact on the community.
• Can state their educational and personal goals for the future and how the certificate will support those anticipated goals.
• Can describe their financial need and how to the scholarship will make a significant impact.

All awards apply to the Spring 2027 program only and are non-renewable.
