Scholarship Details

The Anne Spychala Family Charitable Foundation Scholarship for Continuing Education was established to support individuals who participate in specific UNC Charlotte certificate programs in order to switch careers or improve their career potential.

• We are now accepting scholarship applications for the January 2026 Paralegal Certificate program.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must already be enrolled in the full certificate program at the time of application and remain enrolled during the scholarship award period. Scholarship recipients will be notified after the program begins, and awards will be applied at that time. No discounts may be combined with this scholarship.

Selection Considerations
Priority will be given to individuals who are supporting their families and whose continued education will enhance their quality of life while demonstrating that it’s never too late to learn.

An ideal recipient will demonstrate determination and perseverance; successfully balance family, work, and education; show a commitment to advancing gender equality; and serve as a positive ambassador for the UNC Charlotte School of Professional Studies and the career pathways it creates.

Award Details

• Two recipients will each receive a $1,000 scholarship to be applied toward the cost of the January 2026 Paralegal Certificate program.
• All awards apply to the January 2026 program only and are non-renewable.
